Information we collect

• Account data — your email, name, and the identifiers from any social login you use (Apple, Google, Facebook).
• Location — approximate and precise location, only while you use features that need it (e.g. places near you). You can decline; the app still works.
• Content you create — plans, itinerary stops, notes, votes, and any images (such as avatars) you upload.
• AI inputs — the preferences and prompts you submit when generating an itinerary.
• Purchase data — subscription status for Gala Pro (we do not receive or store your card details).
• Diagnostics — crash and performance data to keep the app stable.

How we use it

To provide and improve the service: creating and sharing plans, coordinating group decisions, generating AI suggestions, processing subscriptions, securing accounts, and diagnosing problems. We do not use your data for cross-app advertising tracking.

Third parties we share with

We use these processors strictly to operate Gala:

• Supabase — database and image storage.
• Google & Meta (Facebook) — sign-in; Google Maps for places.
• Apple — Sign in with Apple.
• RevenueCat — subscription management.
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI itinerary generation.
• Sentry — crash and error diagnostics.

Your choices & rights

You can edit your profile, control location permission in your device settings, and permanently delete your account from the app (Settings → Delete Account) or via our account deletion page. Deleting removes your plans, content, and personal data.

Data retention & security

We keep your data while your account is active and delete it on request. Access tokens are stored securely on your device; passwords are hashed. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

Gala is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region).
